Conference Registration

We are happy to announce that registration for the GCC Annual Conference, “Meeting the Moment: Re-evaluating and Re-inventing Career and Professional Development”: A Conference for Leaders in Graduate and Postdoctoral Career and Professional Development is now open.

The virtual conference will be held June 23rd-25th and includes a unique mix of member-generated lightning, deep-dive, and interactive talks; keynote speakers; and receptions from 12pm-8pm ET with plenty of breaks built in so you can connect with colleagues.  The pre-conference will be held on June 22nd from 12-5 PM along with a welcome reception for all conference attendees. We’d like to reach as many graduate student development professionals as possible, so please spread the word!

What is the Pre-Conference for New Professionals?

Not a current GCC member but interested in attending the Annual Conference?
Individuals who become new GCC members after May 1st are eligible for up to 15 months of membership that will cover you until August 1st of 2022. There are many great benefits to membership, including professional development webinars, our mentorship program, and the opportunity to author pieces for our Carpe Careers column on Inside Higher Ed. Plus, conference registration rates are lower for members.      JOIN GCC TODAY!

The 15-month membership option does not apply to current or past GCC members, only NEW members to the organization.

To register for our 2021 Virtual Annual Conference, please click here.
You must be an active member to register for the conference. Registration fees support the costs of the conference platforms, keynote speakers, and the event organization. Registration fees will also help support our ability to offer scholarships, explained below.

Conference registration closes at 5 PM Eastern time on Monday, June 21st.

Scholarships are available
Recognizing that many of our colleagues are experiencing budgetary restrictions and that systemic inequities across higher education contribute to differential access to resources available to support the professional development of GCC members, the GCC is offering a limited number of scholarships to support the partial or full cost of the conference and preconference fee.

To apply for a scholarship, please click here.
The application deadline for scholarships has been extended to June 1st, 5 PM Eastern.

If you are applying for a scholarship, please DO NOT REGISTER to attend until you have received a decision on your scholarship as you will be required to pay the registration fee via the link below.

Register to attend the 2021 GCC Virtual Annual Conference today!

Conference registration closes at 5 PM Eastern time on Monday, June 21st.
