2026 Post-Conference

What is Post-Con?

A new addition to the GCC Conference experience to turn attendance into action!

“A half-day mini-conference to apply new knowledge, sharpen skills, and strengthen community among GCC members”

New this year, GCC is offering “Post Con”, a culminating conference add-on designed for members with some experience in the field, but open to all members. Over shared meals and a series of interactive sessions, you will collaborate with peers, synthesize the knowledge you gained from the conference, learn practical strategies from invited experts, and build skills that you can apply at your home institution.

Post-Con 2026 will include the following sessions:

1. Inspiration to Implementation: facilitated discussions to allow attendees an opportunity to reflect, ideate, create goals, and form new partnerships

  • Share takeaways and best practices from the conference sessions with colleagues
  • Identify ways to adapt and apply successful programs at one's home institution.
  • Find potential partners and collaborators for new programs, projects, or initiatives

2. Data-driven Decisions and Educational Research Methods: a workshop led by Natalie Lundsteen and Jovana Milosavljevic-Ardeljan to develop your skills in a key competency for practitioners of graduate and postdoc career & professional development

  • Build skills around designing program assessment and evaluation
  • Learn how to leverage data to development, improve, and grow your programs
3. Panel Discussion: gaining visibility and funding for programs
  • Gather insights from GCC members about how to leverage your programs for publication, find collaborators and funding, apply for awards, and showcase your work.

Participate in Post-Con 2026 and translate your insights and conference energy into actions at home, equip yourself with new information and tools, and grow your GCC network!
